Emilio Bonito is Hamilton’s answer to Don Ross or Andy Mckee, and this track is one of his best.
Bonito’s playing is firmly entrenched in that “new acoustic,” fingerstyle mold — full of jazzy chords, fleet-fingered transitions, and somehow still percussive at the same time.
Bonito says the song is about “finding solitude and peace,” inspired by the titular Hamilton waterfall. read more…
