Have you ever had that feeling of déjà vu? I felt it while writing this song. It felt so familiar, yet I couldn’t quite place it. You see, I wrote this at my friend’s house, and it was our first time getting together since the beginning of the pandemic. Perhaps it was simply the familiarity of being with friends after being apart for so long — maybe that was the familiar feeling.
